SIN

Oh love me Jesus

I’ll do what I can

I'll live the life I please

Be the person I am

And if you're still displeased

Think I should care if I’m going to hell

First I am finding my knees

Oh judge me Jesus

As I curse your Christian code

I'm walking with you

I’m on the same road

And if you, you walk alone

Think I should care if you're lonely as well?

Me, I’m just wandering home

In this judgment, where’s the love?

Heaven only knows

Yeah in this judgment, where’s the love?

Only your heaven knows

Oh tempt me Jesus

As your pearly gates yawn

There's a band of bouncers whence

Old Belial was born

And if you're tempted too

Think I should care if you're cajoled as well

Me, I’ve libation to do

Oh guide me Jesus

As I stray from your path

I trample testaments - ha

Or I wallow in your wrath

And if you've got vows that veer

Think I should care if you're foolish as well

Me, I’ve my own life to steer

In temptation where's the helm?

Only your heaven knows

In temptation who holds your helm?

Only your heaven knows

Oh bribe me Jesus

Promise respite for me

Only offer forgiveness when

When I fail to be free

And if you, you got no fear

Think I should care for your confident hell?

Me, I’m alive and I’m here

In this passage who pays the toll?

Only your heaven knows

In this journey where's the love?

Only your heaven knows

Take my culture and my name in vain

Oh why only your heaven knows

Oh love me Jesus

I’ll do what I can

I'll live the life I please

Be the person I am

And if you're still displeased

Love, forgiveness, and entry to heaven are all conditional upon meeting outdated and imprecise criteria, some choose to live without the fear and daily abuse manifested by this archaic control freakery. Reject the judgement and bribery. Reject the temptation to believe the shallow promise. Heaven does not exist; it never did and never will. Just get on with your life.
